"How to watch Doctor Who: Start with Season 1 (27) with Christopher Ecclestone - first episode is called Rose. Watch that, be shocked at the quality, but decide to keep going. Get a few episodes in, decided to keep going cause Billie Piper is (at times) good eye candy (when her face is not melting). Reach an episode called Dalek. Decide this show is in fact decent, keep going. Get to the Moffat written two parter mid-season (The Empty Child” “The Doctor Dances”) love it, and congratulate yourself at not leaving at the start. Reach the penultimate episode, decide it is somewhat funny (if you are English) or act confused (if you are not). Reach the end, wonder why they did what they did, and go to season 2. Wonder who this new guy is here. Think he smiles to much. Think he has good teeth (if you are English) or not (if you are American) - he is Scottish by the way. Start to dislike certain episodes, and begin to develop your RTD-radar. Go the Doctor Who Thread, and tell us you hated Fear Her, we will agree. Christmas special - not bothered. New girl, Martha, you’ll probably hate her. Whore. Rhinos? Another Dalek episode, should be good, right? No. BLINK. THANK YOU JESUS. Watch it again, and again. Move on. End season 3. Cry. It sucks. Really, it sucks. Watch Blink again to get taste from mouth. Season 4 - slightly less bovvered - she has calmed down. She is decentish. It could have been worse. His daughter is hot, episode less so. Turn Left is alight. Bundle in speicles, ends kinda okay, you might like,or RTD-Radar might go off. Season 5. Rejoice. New people involved - writers, actors, cast and crew. Bow ties are cool Promised land. You will like Amy. Good episodes, best ratio of good to bad ever. Fezes are cool. It ends. Watch Sherlock because it is made by the same guy , wait for Christmas Special 2010."
